Omply lets a doctor examine you remotely using small home diagnostic devices that connect to the Omply app — but **which devices you need depends on the symptoms you most often want checked.** This guide maps common symptoms to the right device, explains how to build a kit, and walks through ordering. If you're unsure, a **stethoscope + pulse oximeter + thermometer** covers the most common reasons people use Omply (coughs, breathing, fevers, infections). You can always add more devices later. --- ### Why devices matter (and how Omply is different from a video call) A standard video appointment only lets a doctor *see and talk to* you. With Omply's diagnostic devices, the doctor can run a **real clinical examination from your home** — listening to your heart and lungs, looking inside your ears, and reading your temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and oxygen levels in real time. That often means a diagnosis and treatment (including a prescription, if needed) in a single visit, without an in-person follow-up.
