Monthly maintenance of research equipment

Perform a quick inspection every month to keep the equipment kit clean, complete, and ready for use.

Check the following:

• All devices, parts, and accessories are present
• The devices are undamaged, clean, and look neat overall
• There are enough replacement tips/heads for the thermometer and otoscope
• Charging cables and other accessories are stored properly
• The instructions are included in the package
• The devices charge normally

In addition, do the following:

• Test that the devices start up normally
• If needed, perform a short test use or test measurement in the app
• Make sure the devices connect to the phone as expected
• Replenish any missing accessories
• Remove broken or defective parts from use

Finally: Leave the kit in neat condition and ensure it is immediately ready for the next use.
