Managing Your Doctor Profile in Omply

You can manage your own information as a doctor at: doctor.omply.com

  1. Log in by clicking the “Login” button.
  2. Use your bank credentials for authentication.
  3. When logging into the service, remember to allow Omply access to your camera and microphone. Otherwise, the patient will not be able to see or hear you. Depending on your operating system or browser, the view may vary slightly. We recommend using Chrome as your browser.
  4. Next, you can manage your personal information by selecting “My Information” from the hamburger menu. You can upload your own portrait photo in the profile picture section.

The Reception PIN code exists for patient safety and your own protection. It prevents unauthorized use of the service. You can manage the PIN code via your profile under “Reception PIN code”.

Managing Reception Parameters

Reception parameters allow you to define what kind of medical service you want to offer: General Practitioner, Specialist, or Nurse. You can also select multiple options.

You can choose the appointment duration you wish to offer patients. Please note, however, that the appointment is billed to the customer based on the time selected by the customer. Therefore, an extended visit will still be billed according to the original selection.

Select the symptoms or symptom groups for which you want to offer services. You can choose one or more. Please note that patients are only matched to the selected groups.

In the additional settings, you can select for the patient:

  • Gender: No preference, Male, or Female.
  • Whether you accept minor patients or not.
  • Select one or more consultation languages: FI = Finnish, SV = Swedish, EN = English.

Pricing Section

You can define the price by service type and based on appointment duration. Pricing is accurate to the euro. You can choose between 1–500 EUR. The price list is mandatory information and will be shown to customers before the appointment is scheduled.

At the bottom of the page, you will see your current selections. If desired, you can clear all selections and settings on this page by clicking the “Reset all” link at the bottom right.

Once the required settings have been completed, the “Receive Patient” function will activate at the bottom of the page. Clicking this will take you to the virtual waiting room to wait for patients.

Patient Reception View

The patient reception view appears as follows:

You will see the service selections you have made and a real-time view of the patient being connected to the appointment. When you want to end your availability, click the “Cancel search” function to exit the waiting room.

Reception History

Found in the hamburger menu in the top right corner of the page.

The balance shows the accumulated revenue so far that has not yet been paid out. After payout, the balance resets to zero. Payouts occur automatically according to your valid agreement and are handled by Omply.

Please note that Omply does not store any reception events or conversations with the patient. All communication is encrypted, and Omply has no access to it. Therefore, you must make the necessary medical records independently immediately after the appointment ends or as soon as possible thereafter, and save the patient’s information to the Kanta system if required.

On the page, you can also view the complete reception history with exact date and time, as well as the duration of each appointment in minutes. You will also see the realized billing per event, i.e. your Revenue.
